Lara Logan

 Lara Logan (born 29 March 1971) is a South African television and radio journalist and war reporter. She was a CBS News reporter from 2002 to 2018.60 Minutes' executive producers Jeff Fager and Lara Logan have called her factually incorrect and politcally biased coverage of the 2012 Benghazi attacks "the biggest error I've made in my 10 years of watching." In 2019 she joined the Sinclair Broadcast Group, a conservative media firm. 4 On January 4, 2020 she was a part of Fox Nation. Fox News is a streaming service that requires a subscription. She informed Fox News in March 2022 that she had been "dumped". Logan did her schooling as a reporter for the Sunday Tribune, Durban (1988-1989), then the Daily News (1990-1992). She was hired by Reuters Television Africa in 1992 as an executive producer. After four years of service, she began freelance journalism. Assignments as a reporter/editor/producer for ITN, Fox/SKY News, CBS News (in London), ABC News (in Nairobi), NBC and European Broadcasting Union were all assigned to her. She was a reporter for CNN, reporting on incidents such as the 1998 United States embassy bombings in Nairobi and Tanzania and the conflict in Northern Ireland, and the Kosovo conflict.
