Lily Rabe
American actress Lily Rabe. She is most likely best known for her many performances on FX's horror program American Horror Story (2011-2021). In her role as Portia, in Broadway's production of The Merchant of Venice she was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Actress. Film credits include What Just Happened (2008), All Good Things (2010) and Pawn Sacrifice (2014), Miss Stevens (2016), Golden Exits (2017), Vice (2018), Fractured (2019) and The Tender Bar (2021). Rabe was also a part of the television series The Whispers (2015). The Undoing (2020), The Underground Railroad (2211) and The First Lady (2222). In 2001, Rabe made her screen debut opposite her mother Jill Clayburgh in the film Never Again. In Massachusetts she also had her first stage appearance with the Gloucester Stage Company. Two one-act plays by Israel Horovitz, Speaking Well of the Dead, and The Crazy Girl, by Frank Pugliese, were her roles which resulted in her being awarded an Equity Card. In July 2003 she was in Proof by David Auburn at the Gloucester Stage Company. The same year, she was also in Mona Lisa Smile. After graduating, she moved back to New York. She appeared in White Jesus, a one-act production by Deirdre Owen, which was performed by the Naked Angels Theater Company from September 29 until October 2, 2004.
